AQUivA
Aquiva was born in Tasmania, created to give local board builders and artists a website for displaying and sharing their work online. In the beginning, the idea was simple - to create an aesthetically pleasing space showcasing the talented and creative people in surf.
We started out with a handful of local Tasmanian board builders focusing on the craft of hand-shaping surfboards but now find ourselves on the Gold Coast amongst a sea of high-performance shortboards, now located down in Coolangatta and building surfboards at The GlassLab.
Our mixtape series began as a way to get inside a shapers mind while in the bay & what better way than to get a taste of the music that inspires each shape!

Stocking a range of small batch numbers including hand-shapes and machine cut boards from a bunch of Australian shapers. The site is new, so give it some time to grow or get in touch for customs!

Project Interrupt
There is a vessel somewhere along the Australian coast that shouldn't exist. She is made of discarded fish farm floats, tangled rope, abandoned buoys, and whatever else the ocean has swallowed and spat back onto Tasmanian shores. Her name is Heart, and she is sailing from Hobart to Sydney — proof that from wreckage, something remarkable can be built.
